VIENNA, April 12 (Xinhua) -- U.S. tight oil production is expected to increase quickly in 2017, as the country is pumping more oil when OPEC is trying to rebalance the market, OPEC Monthly report showed on Wednesday.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries(OPEC) said that U.S. total liquids production in 2017 is forecast to grow by 0.54 million barrels per day, higher than last month forecast Nike Roshe Cortez NM SP Black White UK , due to the possible quick increase of tight oil output in the U.S.
"U.S. tight crude output is expected to rise quickly and increase 335 tbd for the overall of 2017," the report said, as the main component of U.S. oil output -- tight oil -- is forecast to grow by at least 0.34 million bpd in 2017.
In the last meeting in Vienna 2016, OPEC decided to cut its oil production by 1.2 million barrels per day to rebalance the oil market. "It can be expected that any move towards higher prices will likely lead to resurgence in US tight oil production from the major shale regions," the report said.

HOUSTON, July 23 (Xinhua) -- At least nine undocumented immigrants died after being trapped inside a tractor-trailer at a Walmart parking lot in the southern Texas city of San Antonio, officials confirmed Sunday afternoon.

"Checking the video from the store, we found there were a number of vehicles that came in and picked up a lot of folks that were in that trailer that survived the trip."
The crime came to light when a man in the truck asked a Walmart employee for water. The employee brought water for the man and called the police.
Police were then called to the parking lot and found eight dead and 31 injured inside the trailer. A ninth victim died in the hospital and several people are still in critical condition at local hospitals.
San Antonio fire chief Charles Hood said the people were in the trailer without any type of liquid.
In the midsummer heat of Texas, where a temperature of 38 degrees centigrade scorched San Antonio on Saturday, the trailer did not have a working air conditioning system, said Hood.
Police did not know the victims' country of origin, destination, or ages of the deceased or injured.
